WHERE & WHEN DO YOU DELIVER?

 

We will deliver your food on Saturday in the morning in the Mount, Papamoa, Tauranga regions. We will be using contactless delivery, texting you when your meal is on route and when it arrives. If you are unable to take delivery at this time, the food will be in a cool bag but will need to be cooled within 4 hours of delivery. Don't worry, it will be packed to perfection, just follow the storage instructions.

Who is it for?

 

If you are not quite ready to go out, want to organise a dinner party, gift an experience to remember or celebrate a special occasion and want to take stress out of entertaining. 

 

How does it work?

 

Our surprise set menu will be delivered to your door prepared - all you need to do is heat and plate the food using our step-by-step instructions and images. If you would prefer to know the menu, click here.

 

Note, the menu will be different from the up and coming pop-up we are running for Hunter Gather, Autumn Edition, after all we don't want to give the game away.

 

What will you eat?

 

Our caveman theme means we won’t be able to cater for vegetarians this time but we will be able to cater for gluten free. On your plate will be fish, seafood, nuts, fruit, seeds and a little red meat. If this isn’t for you, sign up to our newsletter to find out when we launch our plant-based options.

Who is cooking?

 

Shane Yardley is a chef with platefuls of experience. Having spent the first part of his career training with some of the world’s greatest chefs including Alain Ducasse and cooking whitebait for Gordon Ramsey, he did a long stint as Simon Gault’s right hand man. He has now returned to the fold as a tutor at Toi Ohomai teaching the next generation how to cook like a pro. Career highlights include Head Chef of Euro, Fish and a guest judge on MasterChef. You’re in for a treat. 

 

How much does it cost?

 

Kitchen Takeover at home costs $79 per diner, with a minimum order of two people (no maximum order). This cost includes a four course meal, cocktail syrup and recipe (we will let you know what spirits you'll need), wine match suggestions, menu, delivery and a few other little surprises.
